Configuring Forte Free Agent

Forte Free Agent

The Forte Free agent news reader software can be downloaded (via the web) at the following site:

http://www.forteinc.com/forte

Free Agent will now download to your hard drive. Place it in a c:/tmp or c:/temp directory. Once the download is complete go to the directory where you placed the file and double click it. Once Free Agent has run through it's setup, follow the instructions below.

You will then need to open Free Agent and configure some of the settings:

News (NNTP) Server: news.simplyweb.net
SMTP Server: mail.simplyweb.net
Email address: username@znet.net

How to use Adobe Acrobat Reader

Once you have installed the Acrobat Reader, it will automatically be a ccepted by your browser, as the default reader for .pdf files. The next time you open a file that requires the Acrobat Reader, it will automatically launch to display the file. If you would like to run the Acrobat reader independantly of your web browser, you can open it, and then click file - open from the Acrobat toolbar to open the .pdf flie you would like to view.
